Tate would be a great signing at 31 he is still a top class centre and again would make sense as a short term 2 season signing. I seem to remember though he stated in the past he had no desire to leave the Southern Hemisphere due to his family etc.

Tate is also the kind of player that when he hangs his boots up would walk straight into a backroom job.

He has quit representative games so that wouldn't be a hindrance to any negotiations, hopefully there is an element of truth to it

Saints have signed Kyle Amor from Wakey. Should be announced today apparently.

Now announced, £50k.

Massive signing for us, just what we needed. Good pack shaping up for next year with Amor, Walmsley, Masoe, LMS, Laffranchi as front five props and Sia/Manu/Wilkin back row.

Decent depth up front for once too with the likes of Jones, Clough, Beaumont, Flanagan, Greenwood, Walker, Thompson, Richards etc.

And a scrum half! Hallelujah!

Looking forward to next season, reckon we'll be right up there again.

I think he is a good signing for Saints. I am not sure that you have much to catch up to though as the league is pretty avearage.
