Googled him and recall a story about him looking just like Josh Mansour.

Guess it’s a cost cutting replacement for Manfredi.

I don’t want to be too premature on next season but the way this club is recruiting, we’re heading downhill very fast

It all stinks of desperation with our recruitment campaign so far. Underwhelming all round and looks like Williams going to Wire cos they’re offering more.

All well and good whinging about the pandemic but all sides face the same and we’re one of the wealthiest around - in some cases we’ve had plenty of time to address some of the key issues eg. Ageing players, lack of props, Gildart likely wanting to go etc

We’re one of the biggest but certainly not the wealthiest. In truth without Lenagan propping us up we’re skint.

I feel sorry for Lenagan in a way. I criticised him a couple of years back for he recruitment in Lams first season in charge as it smacked of cost cutting. He then rolled the dice and tried to get people back through the turnstiles by signing the likes of George Burgess, Hastings and French and it was a disaster for varying reasons. One was an absolute dud and then crowds were stopped from attending games due to a worldwide pandemic. Talk about bad timing to try and temp people in by splashing the cash. It now looks like we’ve gone in to ultra cost cutting mode. It is very early to judge overall but the signs are worrying. When you start doing that and the crowds go down further (which they will anyway due to Covid) it’s tough to arrest.

I think people are too quick to judge, or unwilling/unable to think there might be a bigger picture.

The guy is currently a championship winger, but let's face it that's the level Hanley (at the min) should be at too. If the guy is being brought in to cover a few positions and "do a job", then what's the issue?

Personally, I'm sick of blooding kids and watching them not only struggle on the pitch, but also being made scapegoats off it by the fans too.
