it strikes me more and more when I go to games, I'm really not bothered about beer at all, even one. To be honest, at home games I buy a beer at half-time because it's something to do that fills in the time! But the beer is expensive, and not good quality, or what I'd choose to drink. I remember the Challenge Cup Final at Spurs; people in front of me spent the entire game tracking back and forth to the bar, for more pints. They must have missed half the match. Happy to wait till I get home, and then have a pint in my local.

I'm with you on this. Pre-game I'm happy to have a pint in the fanzone and then not bother at all inside the stadium. I sit in the South and the queues are ridiculous at times. I've seen folk near me literally miss twenty minutes of a match for the sake of a couple of beers (and it ain't that good either).

People are silly for doing that (and I am definitely not one) but tbh the club really need to sort out the queues. It's completely unacceptable that it takes as long as it does, even when the stands aren't full.

When we played Saints at Cardiff they had a system where they filled 8 pints at a time Tottenham was quick they filled from the bottom up

the beer situation on Saturday wasn't good either - what happened to those automated dispensers, they might have eased the pressure.
Those 2 pint glasses shouldn't be allowed in the half hour before kick off, also get some other decent lager, literally everyone drinking Madri, no one on Carling, was a waste of a tap on the bar.
RFL might have to release more blocks at the top of the North Stand if they haven't already been sold, looks like it's heading for a sell out or near as dammit

i've just bought 4 with the pigeons in W3101 (next to back row, so i should get my steps in for the day too)
the Wigan general sale had only odds and sods, which is good if its true, but equally i'm not sure i trust the system that much, as i couldnt add any ticket into the basket
