Really? I seem to recall Good Friday being a complete sell out and that was on the back of a poor start to the season from us. Plus its an extra 2,000 allocation which we then asked for more and ended up with some fans down the side
I'm genuinely surprised. Wigan have always travelled well in numbers and given its a Friday night with great weather and its not peak holiday season then I don't understand it. I get you have a few injuries in the forwards however you are at full strength 1-7 and anything can happen in a Derby. You've won well with injuries before so its not insurmountable.
Do you always sell out at the DW?
I seem to remember you guys bringing circa 2000 some times back in the day? Particularly non Good Friday games?
Win a couple of games, gat a few back from injury and diabolical should never have been suspensions and all of a sudden some people start getting a bit vocal.
I can see the above now intimates that Wigan fans are not selling out because we don't think we can win?
I'll be there, after shelling out circa £600 over the month of May for 2 away trips to Hull Thursdays nights, Leeds away challenge cup and inc Magic weekend, £1000 if you include Catalans away flights and Hotels paid for last month and that's for me only, God forbid what some families etc have had to shell out.
Anyway I'm sure it is all down to most fans thinking we can't win etc.
Edit
Plus 60/70 today for ticket coach and scoops
Probably 50ish again next weekend for a Challenge cup all pay game
And again week after for Salford ticket/coach away game
Thank God there's no cost of living crisis, or practically 2months without a real home game
