Thought Bateman was fantastic today.

Constant threat and neutralised Olam whilst also getting under his skin.

We will really miss that competitive edge he has next year.

Cooper, solid again. Aggressive running and constantly found his front to get a quick play the ball.

Barring injury I think both have now nailed on their position in the match day 17 for the semi and hopefully the final.

Agree with Bateman, best game ive seen him have all year

Yes Bateman was very good - hope England get Thompson back in the 17 next week.

England were great in the 1st half but have had my fill of one sided games in this WC. Still not sure how they'll go in the semis/final.
