I do find it funny how we have to praise players these days for being good boys. He’s been an absolute credit to himself? Have a day off. He’s a professional sportsman, he needs to behave.

I’m still not having it that we’ll see more than 12 months from him, in a Wigan shirt. Especially when the only reason he’s signing, Adrian Lam, is axed midway through next year.

And that fat marquee salary meant nothing to him. I bet.

Hastings is a very good halfback and Wigan will be a different side with him. He's exactly the sort of player that makes others look better because he runs the show.

He would have made Williams look like Alfie Langer in his heyday

Add that to "Anything Could Happen" when asked last night about staying at Salford in 2020...I would say the club are in for a tough few weeks :?

I assume that he has signed a contract.
After the Edwards fiasco I can't see the club making the same mistake.

Sorry but if he is already questioning coming here and talking like he doesnt really want to come then i would rip his contract up (has he even signed one?) What the hell is wrong with him? If he doesnt not want to come then then we should not beg him. Didnt he turn us down last year? Sod him, we can spend our money anywhere and our club is one of the greatest names in world sport. Let him stay at Salford, im sick of players who dont really want to be here and just looking for a quick buck or stepping

People need to relax. He's enjoying (and rightly so) the moment. MOS winner and on the verge of competing for the GF in a team that's never got there previously or ever looked like getting there.
People forget only a few years back Jackson was kicked out of Manly, supposedly no players wanted to play with him; then he failed to get another NRL contract and ended up at a mid/bottom SL team.

He's helped changed his life around and the team which he plays for. It's a great achievement, one he should be happy about. Let him love his time at Salford and the moment. We should be clapping him along; he's a young man who's turned it all around.

And then we can welcome him with open arms for 2020.
