Rugby League has got to be careful with their ticket prices and the way it's going imo.

If you look at how expense football is and the way it's drove some fans away at certain grounds we can't afford to risk that happening in our game. IMO £20 is too much for a terraced ticket at any ground in superleague especially as it is a working class game.

Prices seem to have gone up from the £15 mark to the £20 mark very very quickly.

It does. RL is the sort of game where a central pricing policy would work, or at least some kind of regulation in terms of ticket pricing.

Romain Navarrete: “I’m very happy to have signed for Wigan Warriors. As soon I knew that Wigan were interested, they were the only team that I wanted to sign for. To me, Wigan is the biggest Club in Rugby League and it will be an honour to pull on the famous Cherry-and-White jersey next year. I look forward to working with Shaun Wane and the players at Wigan.”

I agree with NickyKiss.

£19 each in the West Stand is almost £40 for two of us, plus fuel, etc, etc. It's even worse for families bringing children. We don't buy drinks and food any more to try and economise. I know the businesses need to survive, but over-pricing will result in less people going, which will in turn make the prices go up again.
In RL, we don't have the luxury of having waiting lists for season tickets and memberships, so the clubs should be doing all they can to attract and keep their fans, without raping them for every penny.

20 pound is very steep no matter if where in a credit crunch like has been said early we had better watch this ticket price issue cos soon were going to lose the average working man/woman that takes his kids to the game if you look at the facilties at leeds they are sub standed to quite a few teams in the league below and leeds are world champs at the mo.

Conroy - Being a Latics fan i'm already immune to watching sh*te.

Sally Cinnamon - Treat the Saints forum as you would if you met a girl from St Helens. Best policy would be to avoid altogether but if you absolutely can't resist temptation then take every possible precaution.

anyone buying a ticket for leeds should buy a childs ticket through wigans ticket office, then when getting to headingly use the ticket machine entrance, nobody checks what ticket you have!!

i wouldnt condone this but if you phone up leeds for your ticket and order it over the phone you would save a few bob as at leeds they dont have turnstyle operaters as there automatic.
