He was a decent impact prop in his early Wigan career (fair few on here tipped him for international honours) but didn’t really kick on, in fact he has regressed massively. I presume he’s well liked and is a good leader as he shows nothing on the pitch as to why we’ve kept him on the last few years, id also hope he’s cheap.

It sounded like a sensationalist statement, but I genuinely can't think of many other props that are worse than Clubb. He does 10 mins, hardly makes yards, is always good for a pen and lacks mobility. I think it was the Leeds game a few backs that really showed it, he got skipped around like he was a tanker turning in the Suez.

Would love a big aggressive prop. I like Bunty Afoa off the NZ Warriors. He’s 24 but off contract and so far not looking like being renewed. Good prospect

Saints tried for him last season I believe but he turned it down. He was on fire earlier on this season and I read he would be getting a bee deal but it’s gone a bit quiet and his form has dropped a bit.

I don’t think anybody could ever argue that Clubb is not past his best by some distance. I’ll always remember the set of 6 tackles in a row he put in against Saints that led to us getting the ball back deep in their half. We scored from that on our next set and his energy won us that game. He’s had his moments of brilliance such as chasing down the winger at Hull when he had nobody in front of him (think it was Naulago - excuse the spelling). Clubby definitely needs to call it a day but he also deserves respect for his career.

The 30 yard thing i presume you mean the Leeds try was mod 2019

Hes had a handful of decent games in the last 5 years

Any prop forward who can run like Clubb did after the hooter at Leeds has clearly not put enough into the game as at that point he should be out on his feet not nearly scoring a try like that.

If all our props could run like that at the end of a game we wouldn't have a 24 page thread about how useless our props are
