He did have a good run when he came back from his kidney thing, even then I doubt he ever made 100m in a game though.

I personally think Clubb is the worst player at the club, but also the worst prop in SL.

I just don't see what he brings to the side.

You could find a group of wigan fans that have nothing good to say about Sam Powell or Willie Isa and some who don't want George Williams back.

His stats are better than every single one of our props and in some cases 2 or 3 of them combined.

Best run Clubb has was around that Leeds game two years back when he scored from 25 yard out. We had no props fit and he stepped up for about 3-4 games. Outside of that he’s been dire for a good while.

worst in SL? - I agree about being worst at the Wigan, but there must be some worse somewhere.....

the new rule changes are the final nail in the coffin for he big lumbering prop, who can only do 10 min stints and turn slower than an oil tanker.

Cant be bothered looking for the stats but he was worse than average for the 2 full seasons before that, and has been dreadful since.
And to be honest the only real reason thise 4/5 games stand out (and let's be honest they weren't rhat great) was that were comparing them to the dross before it.

Hills average of the last 2years is still light years ahead of Clubbs contribution

I fully agree but the lazy git showed what he can do when he’s forced to but he reverted to type as soon as other props came back. I looked at the stats about 6 month back in a similar discussion and from memory he had a game where he made around 130m and a couple around 90-100m. As you say not as much as what Hill is knocking out but amazing for Clubby.

Imagine if we offer him a new deal
