The question is simple. Would Chris Hill make us better? If yes and moneys right its an option. If no then the answer is obvious.

We need to be realistic when discussing signings and not talk utter pie in the sky like i have read on various pages.

But firstly we need to chop the deadwood we are carrying currently.

Good point and I think most would agree that he probably would at this point.

I just hope we could get one or two props who offered more, hopefully it’s all in hand.

If we did get one or 2 who made a difference then we would improve significantly. It just worries me that Lam doesn’t see that.

Hill is probably the type of signing that we need. He’s still a good prop and would provide the leadership and experience in the front row whilst our youth develop. If there was an opportunity for a 1 year deal with a 1 year option I’d go for it.

Kelvin Skerrett at the age of 54 would make us look better so I have no fear that Hill would.
