Is it me or has Owen Farrell done absolutely f*ck all at Saracens apart from kick a few goals? Never see/hear of him making a break or providing try assists etc.

To be fair his kicking game is superb. Don't bite my head off, but I think his overall game is currently too limited and he would seriously struggle in a game of rugby league.

His defence is top notch, combine that with a kicking game and he'd be a good fit in the current side. We're missing a quality positional kicker, he'd provide that. He's no worse at distribution than someone like McIllorum.

Just differences of opinion
Comparing him to MickyMc does kind of go with what I said about a limited overall game though.

No I get what your saying, he doesn't have any sort of running game and will never break the line. But my point is, neither did Deacon. My reference to McIllorum is just the distribution aspect, it's ok, but it's not his major strength. The major area lacking in our side is positional kicking, it's woeful. We have backs who can break the line, you only need Sam and you've got more than enough.
