I can understand if NRL clubs are a bit wary still. The increased scrutiny he gets at Wigan compared to at Salford seems to be grating on him and that’ll increase ten fold in the NRL. At Salford nobody would say a bad word about the lad, he was the main man, the hero that turned the club around but when you go to a bigger club and drop back to just being the same size as the rest of the fish in the pond, you’re going to be scrutinised more, questions are going to be asked of you and it’s not always going to be ‘We love you Jacko’ and if he thinks some of our fans are annoying (and they are) then he will have to grow a thicker skin back in Oz, especially when dealing with the press.

I think you have hit the nail on the head. he likes his social media platform, but doesnt like the fact that there are some (quite a few) agitated fans at the minute. that is a few fans, not the national press.

however, that scrutiny, expecially from the media will increase 10 fold if he gets a gig back in Oz, and it he isnt prepared for that, his career may not take off how he wants it to. Getting aggravated with a few keyboard warriors over here will be nothing to the exposure / scrutiny he will get if / when he goes home

Like and professional sportsman. Make it your goal to shove it to the naysayers. He really doesn't help himself though with some of the comments he makes. Just knuckle down and get on with it. The rest will look after itself.

Sure he said today he was happy to start the season with this squad but look to bring in a Prop and an Outside back once the season was underway.

Yeah, he said it’ll be during the season he thinks we’ll need a prop and an outside back but he’s happy to start with what we have.

Harry Smith strongly rumoured to be going on loan to you guys. I think most of us are surprised Mitch Clark is still here. Then there are youngsters like Hanley, Kilner etc who I can see potentially going out on loan. We have a 29 man squad available (minus injuries) as it stands if my maths is right so that is quite a few players to have sat on the sidelines.
