Much of the moaning and arm throwing from wire regarding holding down was following the ref calling surrender. I think it's the most calls i've heard in a game. Wigan rightly took their time to set the defence. I can imagine in the crowd it's frustrating as you don't hear the call from the ref.
I really don't understand the criticism of Brads put down for his try. First look in real time it's odds on a bounced ball, but on the other angle there is absolutely no separation even at slow motion - and that's the whole purpose of the VR.

Brads grounding was just fine, no seperation and you can see his hand/fingers bend back as the ball hits the ground. Maybe a close call for offside, not sure the VR looked that closely at that part, I'll check again in super slo-mo, IIRC it went up as no try from the ref?
Miniken was very unlucky but it went up as no-try and there did look to be a bobble of the ball. I'd prefer this one was given TBH.
Some discussion of Wardle's try being forward - not for me - the key is Bevan's hand position - its backwards out of his hand and drifts to a line ball down to the good old momento rule (Thank you Stevo)
The Russel knock on - I understand it bounced off his head and that is not a knock on?
