I walked back in to St Helens on Good Friday, over the motorway bridge crammed full of gloating Saints fans and the overwhelming majority of the comments were ‘they’re a one man team’ and one guy kept repeating ‘give it to Jai, give it to Jai’ in his comedy Scouse accent. Mentally I think I went back to that bridge at full time yesterday and jeez it felt good
Just watched the two clowns on RedVee TV on YouTube. Apparently Dwayne Chambers could do what Fields doing Also we were battered for all but 14 seconds of that second half. Worth 8 minutes of any Wigan fans time just for comedy value.
We walked over the Steve Prescott bridge to Tesco back into St.Helens. We were just talking amongst ourselves, not even about the game. We had absolute cretins trying to goad us all the way back and quite a few of them standing blocking the paths giving it big guns singing 'interbred Wigan scum' in our face, with little kids with them as well. Horrible lot they are.

Such a shame when it’s like that. I made a right mess up yesterday and had already bought tickets for Haydock races, so I watched it there. A Saints fan came sitting with us, we had a laugh and shook hands at the end. He said we deserved the win and was a really good bloke. It’s stuff like that which makes me proud of the sport and then experiences like yours that puts a real dampener on a good day out and there’s just no need for it.
We are absolutely 1000% better than last season performance wise. Last season we wouldn't have been anywhere near that result (I doubt we would have made it to the semi final either by the way).
Culturally we have made massive strides in such a short space of time, you can see it on the players faces.
By the way it's also notable that a couple of 'you know who' departees from last season have failed to either pass on their congratulations to the club or even mention our result on social media, that in itself speaks volumes.

We are a different club compared to Lam's era. I actually can't wait for match day whereas with Lam I I dreaded the thought of a game. Peet and his team have transformed the atmosphere of the whole club including players, staff and most importantly the fans.
Congrats you lot - handed the occasion better and stuck in there.
I felt like we would need to cough up chances to concede points and so it proved - some sickeners in there! Second half was only going one way until the Marshall gift but Wigan deserve credit for sticking in there when they would have been shattered by events unfolding.
Well done - enjoy the final.
A great game for the winners and neutral fans. Good to see a genuine fan take a defeat on the chin. I think how aggressively we started in defence unsettled you guys and we took advantage of some unusually poor Saints defence. Our next encounter with you guys should be a cracker.
What I dont get is before the game we would need luck on our side to even get close to them,we would be happy just to show spirit if we lose,we are so far behind Saints and Dragons that it was not worth turning up as we would get battered as the song goes, but hears the thing we bloody won we beat them even when none of our players could get in their team. Love the thought of thousands of Saints fans waking up this morn and thinking it was a bad dream and suddenly it dawns on them and inside their minds a small explosion occurs WE LOST how did this happen please someone explain. Enjoy the moment fellow Wiganers dont look to find fault in this side this week end as we are in the Challenge Cup final. Does mickey me off as well when people moan when you should just enjoy the moment.

As a Saints I take no notice of those we are never beaten by the better team (as we where yesterday) but because of refs ect
