Yeh, it would definately take salford a year or so to click i reckon. Their results will be pretty up and down. Look how long its taken hudds to get were they are, the giants are doing it the right way tho.The Salford project could go tits up!

I suppose if they make the play offs in 2014 and they twiddle the rules so that Koukash can actually use his money then they'll become a more of an attractive proposition to the best players. To stand a chance of winning trophies they need a key player of the calibre of Sinfield/Briers/O'Loughlin/Brough IMO. They make a massive difference in the big games and their team tends to struggle when they're injured/rested. It'll be interesting to see who steps into the void over the next four years as they all retire and more players get scavenged by the NRL/Union. It may well prove to be a big leveller.

They don't need to fiddle or twiddle the SC rules so Koukash can spend his money.
I do hope he sticks to the SC rules and still manages to blow the whole SC nonsense out of the water.
With his companies and business connections it would be far easier busting the SC within the rules than breaking them.
