Unbelievable that some can be so nasty towards a player who has been not only a good signing but a loyal club player in spite of having a bad and long term ailment and who in return has been supported by the club in retaining him as part of the squad until such time like Flower he moves to another club or like O'Loughlin and his injuries retires
Thank goodness the nastiness is confine to the usual ignorant minority on here and not the the vast majority of more respectful Wigan supporters!

With no reserves and no dual reg and a host of good young forwards it makes a lot of sense to trim the squad.
My concern is really over the wing position, over the last 10 years we have brought players like Charnley, Burgess, Marshall, Manfredi, and Davies through from the academy so always had cover. I don't see anyone in our academy ready to step up yet especially with Marshall probably being out until June. I'd try to bring Tom Davies back, I know we are looking to strengthen that position. |

The irony and hypocrisy in your posts is utterly astounding. I don’t know how you do it. You’ve gone from dying on the “Kibula should be more aggressive cos he’s black and from Congo” hill to now dying in the “you shouldn’t be so nasty to players who have long term injuries despite me being nasty to GB who also has a long term injury” hill.
You’re bringing in Flower and Lockers to deflect as you cannot, with a straight face, sit and say Clubb in the last few seasons has been anything more than dead wood. |

No you shouldn’t have mentioned where he was from as it has absolutely no relevance whatsoever. That last comment is a clear and intentioned dig at the “left” as you’ve commented before. If you can’t make a comment about a player of a different skin colour and/or origin to you without making reference to his origins you’re a plain racist. It’s as simple as that.
