the debate about Fifita is interesting cos Wire outplayed us in a CC Semi as they ran at Feka when in defence so he was f***ed and unable to run the ball in and make any yards when we had it. An absolute master stroke of management that day on how to take a strike player out of a game (unfortunately we were on the end of it)

I also got frustrated with Feka. The amount of tries he would have scored had we had him running onto the ball near the line would have been double digits per season for me. Sadly, thats pretty much all he offered when he was here

I liked Feka and Fielden to be honest.

Feka’s devastating (though as time went on few and far between) skittle runs were sublime to watch. They probably masked over his clear inability to be as devastating in D and last longer than 10mins a time.

Fielden was always a prop who I admired, even more so post Mason. He wasn’t the same prop but he was still tough and would take a ball in in his own 10mtrs knowing full well he’s going to get leathered. He was solid and dependable in attack and D and some of the criticism levelled at him was totally unjustified. DW threw money at him to come here and with a sinking Bradford he obviously jumped at the chance, it’s not his fault how much we paid him which seemed to be the main stick fans would use to beat him with.

Fifita is a no. He’s not a Feka, he’s not a Coley and he’s certainly no Fielden. He’s a poor mans Tony Clubb.

When either Feka or Fielden were at their best they were great to watch. On a side note, not a fan of Fielden's recent splurge of Covidiot esque tweets but that's not for a rugby forum.

Fifita's too much of a risk for me - good on his day but can be injury prone, lazy and his attitude this year has been appalling.

If G.Burgess leaves we should bide our time for the right opportunity. Getting someone in mid season would be fine.

Robbie Mulhern would be a cracking pick up.

Flies under the radar due to playing at KR but he is a big mobile lad, strong in contact and also has a good engine best of both worlds in relation to the 6 again rule and a player who I think could really thrive at a bigger club.

Mulhern is close to joining, all dependant on Greenwood leaving though for cap space

I'd be made up with Mulhern tbh.

I assume he knows Zak and Singleton quite well from his time at Leeds too.

Unless Burgess medically retires we won’t be getting rid of him, Mulhern would be on less than Greenwood so it would be a kind of replacement even though they aren’t the same position
