I'm not saying Hanley or Halsall won't eventually be better than Tierney but if you want someone ready to come in and start every week whilst Marshall is out then give me the guy who has over 100 SL games under his belt and won the Grand Final and Challenge Cup please. Hanley looked well out of his depth in his one game, no way can we put that kind of faith in him yet. Halsall I recall less about, other than the sin bin obviously but those things happen. Regardless, I think we're looking at Bibby rather than Hanley/Halsall if we don't sign a cover option.

It’s a yes from me, he still has a lot of potential and could be a real shrewd signing

I have been much more impressed with Bibby out on the right. He may not be a speedster but he will cause problems for the opposition with his bulk. I always liked Tierney but we let him go for a reason and it is not a time to take a step backward. If we go for a winger he has to be clearly better than what we have now otherwise we can make do and mend and spend in other areas. It is sad to see so many writing off Hanley He had no worse a game against Saints than other senior players we have seen. Bibby has come good despite having a mare a few games back. Bishop would be a good call but I doubt that he would accept peanuts as some on here have suggested.

Got to admit I think the desire to sign a winger has lessened a little these past few weeks due to Bibby looking much more secure on the right. You wouldn’t turn your nose up at one but I’m not sure Tierney or BJB would offer a great deal more than Bibby.
