If Hastings does stay I think Tommy has to retire really. He’s playing some of his best rugby since he re joined us at the moment but also it’d be good to send him out whilst he’s on top and got a real shot at winning the GF. Whilst it would be tough losing two leaders in Tommy and Lockers I think the emergence of Hastings Powell and Hardaker as leaders could fill the void

Hearing Tommy has signed a 1yr deal. I don’t know how true that is but assuming it is, Hastings becomes favourite to leave.

IF the contract was good value, I think the club should consider offering Ryan Hall a 1 year deal. 33 later this year but he hasn't played a lot of rugby in the last 12 months so will hopefully be well rested. No doubt the decision to release Burgess came before the injury to Liam Marshall and we would be looking short with only Bibby and an injury prone Dom Manfredi as first team wingers in the first half of next year.

I think a lot (like everything) will depend on Tommy and Hastings. If both are here next year, then I wouldn't be shocked to see Field starting on the wing.

God I hope he's not going. Assuming we can get him fit and no more injuries (tough call that) and we get his head back to a few years ago, he mustard.

He might not be crocked, but the club might have realised he can't be back to his previous level. Similar in a way to Hansen, he still had plenty of offer as a player, but just not as much as we needed.
