There's rumours (And we all know what this is meant to cover, i.e. rumours of signings etc.) and there's just making things up to have a dig at the club i.e. S**t Stirring

Just because it's a rumours thread does it mean others can't call it out if they think it's BS???

Of course you can.
I don't think I've agreed with one Ruddy Duck's posting but he's entitled to post his views as much as anyone.

Without his postings in the last few weeks the amount of traffic on this site would be quite a bit lower.

I don't think the guy is being malicious I just think that he can't see past his own opinion and no matter what anyone says the guy ain't for changing. I find some of his postings funny and I'm not sure if that's intentional on his part or maybe he just doesn't realise how much he winds people up.

It would be a poorer place if there were no dissenting voices.

At no point have I have told him to stop posting
However, when it's done to stir up bad feeling etc. and to have another pop without any supporting evidence I and/or others are likely to call it out for what it is, Mischief making.

The problem comes when people's views, opinions, suspicions etc become 'fact'. There've been many posters on here who would have prospered during the witch-hunting era when a simple denunciation was enough to get someone hanged.

It doesn't remotely surprise me that the infamous 'other site' is already circulating rumours that Johnson has been sacked for questioning the club's wisdom, because it's a den of anti-IL hostility. I think it's far more likely that he's been let go because the current disaster means everyone has to cut costs somewhere, or maybe because the players haven't been conditioned adequately (which was certainly being argued by some earlier in the season). But you can guarantee that on 'the other site' it'll now be narrative that he's been martyred for speaking his mind.

As you say, everyone is allowed an opinion. But no one must assume that having an opinion puts them beyond challenge. Especially those who couch their opinion as fact.

My main point was that this is a rumours thread therefore I suspect many of the rumours posted are just that.

Unlike Steph Curry i believe Ruddy Duck posts his opinions because he actually believes in them

Probably not the smartest approach to recruitment, but I've just read that Hull KR have been linked with Albert Vete and if I was Radders, then I'd probably take a look at him.

Only know a little bit about the guy, but he looks to be another one of those types of props that Hull KR seems to sign and turn into a success.

Do we need another prop though?

Flower, Clubb, Clarke (forgotten man), G Burgess, Havard, Oli, Kilner, Lockers (not his usual position but he can slot in), Singleton, Bullock

Out of that list only one/two is rumoured to be leaving, the rest have contracts for at least another year. Still leaves us with 8 at the club. If we’re not careful we’re gonna go from “not enough props” to too many.
