That would have been back in the day when Wigan would have signed a player if they had ONE good performance against us. Bowen will be arleet, he's no Tomkins but he's the type of player who will always get involved and not go into hiding, unlike a certain Stains kiwi signing. Who knows it might have a knock on effect of moving Hampshire into 6 or 7 and putting Matty Smith into a hooker al la lulu and losing Logan....

I think Sarginson is a good signing and has good utility value. He has speed to burn and is quite elusive and his faults can be worked on/ironed out. When Sam goes I would say he would be a better full back than anyone we currently have and he can cover other positions too.

Sarginson is a squad filler and no more. He had huge potential as a 17 year old but he's been a victim of a struggling first team set up in London.

He should be coming here as back up, to get a few games and to improve. I think he'll do that here and be a first choice player 'eventually' but I wouldn't expect too much, too soon.

If he's not a world beater straight away I'm going to get on his back from the off. He'll also be my scapegoat unless Gelling is playing.

Got a few to choose from next year like Pettybourne, Hopkins and potentially one or two others so it's going to scapegoaters paradise!

Matt Bowen is cooked; so I suppose it is about time he made his way to the Super Duper League. But please not to Wigan.
