Ask a Wakey fan and they’d tell you there hasn’t been a better winger than Tom Johnstone in the history of the game but in truth I’d say he possibly is. There probably isn’t much in it.

Yeah he has and there’s no chance of him coming here. Somebody jokingly suggested signing him and Olam but referred to him as ‘AJ’, so just clarifying who he is.

I’d like a winger but it’s low on the priority list and we can manage without. It certainly wouldn’t be anybody of the class of Johnstone.

Is there anyone we could pick up from Toronto?

Ryan Hall wouldn't be a bad shout - IF the contract is a low one and if he'd come for 12 months.

On those terms I think it would be wise business tbh but it all depends on what space there is. It’s been surprising to see French sign on and with Hastings potentially following suit, you wonder if we’ll have any room. There will be more exits yet you’d think so maybe we will have a bit of room.

We will have room once Lockers, Benny and Shorrocks leave.
