Hastings set to stay next year according to his manager. Great news tbh means if French does leave then Jai Field comes in as a direct replacement and hopefully we’ll see Hastings and Smith play together next year as a solid partnership

Yeah I've read that. I think he's been superb for us, he hasn't been the line breaker he was last year, he's played a different role and this year he's more heavily marked.

I'm hoping he stays, and with Field coming in to replace French we keep that spark that will take some pressure off Hastings.

Hastings to stay in this country for the next year at least according to his manager. Enjoying life and his footy in the UK.

Start working on getting him signed up to a new extended deal.

Great news in relation to Hastings.

Smith & Hastings with Tommy (perhaps) playing a minor role as cover at 7/9 next year gives us consistency and also quality.

We can’t have a guessing game next year with Hastings we need him to let us know what he is doing early in 2021 for the 2022 season so we can ensure If he plans on a return to the NRL in 2022 we are in a prime position to recruit a quality replacement.

Hopefully Hastings gets to play in front of a packed stadium next year as I think in that environment he will thrive off the vocal support.

Hands of gold Kris Radlinski - ultimate professional Terry Newton- would die for the badge Andy Greg - named my youngest after him. Maverick. Loved him Andy and Liam Farrell- so consistently good it’s freakish Bill Ashurst - if he played today he would be the the best forward in the world Norman Cherrington - best cover tackle ever at Wembley Ernie Ashcroft - a wingers dream and a gentleman. When I had the pleasure to meet him it changed my view on how I watched the game Sam Tomkins - simply brilliant in 2012. The best ever player brought through the ranks for me Ted Bradshaw - me dad’s favourite. I really don't understand your game, which seems to be looking for problems within the club that aren't necessarily there. Let's also not distract from the fact that the covid pandemic has disrupted the sport at levels not seen since World War 2 (War leagues... etc) at this rate we will be lucky to finish the season.

No crowds next season probably (therefore no gate receipts revenue, less sponsorship) massive problems to overcome within the game for all clubs and yet we see progress being made with new signings but you're still not happy.

Are you actually still a fan of this club or just someone who used to be during the golden era and its all gone downhill since then?

Not for me, I couldn't care less if the team was full of Wiganers or Aussies, With not coming from Wigan it isn't a prerequisite for me, All I want to see is a successful side regardless
