Lomax's wages will be less then Tomkins so we should have plenty left over.

Heard a rumour yesterday the Josh Charnley has handed in a transfer request? And will be following Tomkins to the Nrl.

Could be one of those crazy stories you get at this time of year but I would not be surprised if he was a target for an Australian club.

Anyone heard this? Hope it's not true!

We will certainly have some holes to fill next year. There seems to be an exodus going on at the minute.

I like to stay optimistic and we will definitely have some space on the cap but we will need some quality players to come in if we want to maintain our challenge for silverware

Adam leaving Hudds was a bit if his own fault, he demanded an unrealistic deal that matched his brothers despite being a fringe player. He has really come on at Hull KR, think he learnt a lesson from his departure at the Giants.

He is a cracking lad off the pitch but a really nasty lad on it, but in a legal way.

He is a little up and down form wise, but if he can become consistent I think he has a big future. Costigan going to KR will I anticipate also aid his development.

Interesting, one or two posters commented on how unpopular Wane was at the start of the season, quoted that many players would try to find their way out in the near future...

Those posters were heckled for even suggesting it.

I am not sure the blame needs to be Wane's entirely. Playing for Wigan puts players in the shop window which gives them massive leverage in negotiations with the NRL and union. We should of course be given a higher salary cap figure as a result of our fame.
At the moment, it looks very grim, and I would be surprised if we got anywhere near next year. In a way though, if we develop the lads we have got by 2015 we may have a great team again.
Happily, we have plenty to look forward to before we need to give up on this year yet.
