I do think Austin is a very talented player, but he certainly doesn't help himself with his antics.

Made more annoying by the fact that the likes of him get a very easy and uncritical ride from the Sky goons.

I’ve noticed him try to con the ref a few times.
When we played them at home he said a Wigan player had bitten him. No evidence was found.
I’ve noticed in other Warrington games against other clubs that Austin tries to bend the rules. I’m sure all the referees must be aware of his antics by now.
During this week’s game Hill and another wire player pretended they were injured to slow down drop outs when they were obviously fatigued late in the game.

It’s nailed on that either Hill or Ratchford go down ‘injured’ when a drop out or repeat set is called

I thought Charnley did that following Smiths kick to the corner. He was holding his head like he’d took a stray knee or boot but replays showed nothing, or nothing that I saw anyway.

Just out of curiosity, would anyone think bringing Lewis Tierney back would be a good signing to cover wing.

He isnt getting a game at Catalan.

The other player of their off contract i would think could add cover would be David mead

I’d prefer Tierney on the wing to Bibby I think but I don’t overly rate him and once Marshall was fit it would be an easy decision as to who starts. Ideally I’d like somebody I feel could push Manfredi and Marshall longer term but if it was Tierney or nobody, I’d take Tierney.

I would prefer a player deemed good enough to play for Wigan rather than a Wigan reject, No wonder we are going downhill fast
