He puts himself in positions that always allows the saving tackle. Best part is that it’s rarely a functional safety first type hit. 9/10 times he absolutely banjos the attacker
It’s something that was evident as a team on Saturday. Manfredi and Bibby both whalloped two wire players into the front row with try saving efforts.
Fantastic that they came off but I would imagine the opposition wingers think carefully about trying to sneak in on the outside for the rest of the game.
Getting bushwhacked so ferociously would defo make me think about jinking back in the inside in future as opposed to hugging the touch line.
