That is worrying if true, particularly when you consider that we have already lost Hock.

I would be happy if we signed Briscoe for Richards and Burgess looked really promising on the wing. Don't know anything about Pettybourne so can't really comment on him.

I do think we need to sign a proven goal kicker though.

Doubt we'll lose Hansen or Charnley for 2014 but I've no confidence they'll be here longer then just next season.

Its open season on our players because we've basically admitted we'll let anybody leave if they want to.

The MEN reported H had agreed a 3 yr deal with us about 2 weeks back. Hopefully they are right

Perhaps if Hock goes to Salford that will help us keep H unless he decides to try the NRL.

I don't think H will go to Salford.
IL knows he can't keep losing players like we are doing and even hope to compete at the top.
For the same reason I don't think he'll let Josh leave. He signed a 5 year deal not long ago and this might well be the deal that IL decides the player must see out.
IL has to stop the exodus and set an example to other clubs and also his own players who have signed long term deals that in future those contracts must be honoured.
They all signed willingly to secure their futures and this may well be the time that IL/Wigan stand firm and say "You signed the contract, now honour it"
Any more players under contract leaving at the end of 2013 will have massive negative repercusions from the fans and for the club. This must be known by now and IL/Wigan have to act, make a stand and secure the club's future with the quality players we have under contract.

He's shown no sign of being able to or even wanting to stop the exodus out of the club. I think he believes we can still be competative losing 4 or 5 players each year by promoting from within and signing a couple of cheap squad fillers to go with them. That ploy will eventually fall flat on it's backside and at that point the coach will pay the price IMO.

Ian Lenagan is and always will be a legend but he looks to be trying to keep costs down at the moment at the expense of the team.

I am seriously starting to question IL's motives if we see Charnley allowed to leave when he his contracted, IL allowing Tomkins to break a significant clause in his contract which was used constantly to persuade the fans we would have Sam for at least 3 more seasons just shows he is more than happy to lie to us.

We have taken the option on his contract Rogues, but since when does that mean anything. If he doesnt leave for NZ this year he may almost certainly goon a free when his contracts up. enegan has shown he likes to sign players on deals so he can sell them for a transfer fee i:e joel, sam and mossop. In his las tannouncement he said expect 6 players to leave for the NRL.

Well its happening folks. Makes you wonder if IL already knew these deals were done and thus he was just breaking the news gently
