I never knew there where so many St Helens fans in Penrith until last night
Big shout out to the moron in the Steelers bobble hat in the North Stand who gave me the bird and mouthed off at me for celebrating at the end (in front of his kids and my daughter). Hope you are enjoying your pint of bitter
Lots of problems in the North stand last night and the stewards didn’t know how to deal with it. Rather than deal with the situation they just called for another steward to monitor the situation which unfortunately led to the innocent people leaving.
A bunch of drunk morons wearing Penrith shirts and bobble hats (all from UK) swearing and gesturing to Wigan supporters sat behind them.
Ultimately made the victory that bit sweeter mind but hope the people effected are ok.

Take comfort in that him and many others contributed to Wigan's finances during our moment of glory.
I've not checked Wigan's fixtures and it will be interesting to see their reaction to Saturday, outcome of injuries etc. They have a strong squad so should be ok.
Good Friday could well see both teams with maximum points so far. This could be one of the best most anticipated Saints v Wigan games for a long time. It's nailed on it will be a complete sell out too.
We were superb on Saturday, much better than I expected and the new signings have fitted in seamlessly less so Blake who you can tell has had no pre-season.
We have Leigh and Salford both at home coming up and then Leeds A (who knows what Leeds team we will face) but we could easily be 5 from 5 wins. If Wigan do likewise (well 4 from 4) then we are in for one hell of a battle!

Biggest game of the regular season. There’s some stat that Bilko normally posts that the winner of the GF fixture normally goes on to win the GF (if Leeds don’t win it).

Huddersfield and London on deck for Wigan.
Who is the 3rd game? There's 3 weekends and then the CC before Good Friday

Huddersfield H, London A, Salford A, Challenge cup and then Saints is our run. None of it will be easy given the come down of winning that game on Saturday but we'll see how we go. Friday in particular could be tricky with the potential for 7 or 8 forwards to be ruled out through injury. Ultimately though that win on Saturday was worth losing players for and if we have an iffy run then so be it. I do think we'll be ok because of the depth and I think the mentality is good.

i think most fans would be happy with 3 from 4 leading into Saints away (if i include winning the cc tie)
This week if we can start with Dupree, Thompson, Mago and Hill in the front row with O'Neill and Forber running 9, then we still look pretty strong if we can start with Farrell, Isa and Ellis in the back row
Then its how the injured players recover to give the above time off to refresh and push for a tilt at retaining the championship

Peet didn't know in the press conference if Byrne had passed his HIA or not so maybe he could be ok. Ellis had a knock as well, so we'll see how we go. If both are ruled out then it'll be a good chance for Chan and maybe Makin (if he's still available before he goes to Barrow). Hopefully Thompson doesn't need more than the weeks rest and we'll be looking ok. We could do with things getting no worse though.
Good Friday looks like being very tricky for Wigan with most players out until April and May - we'll get injury news on Cooper and Leeming this week but I'd be very surprised if they were available for the Saints game. Getting points against lesser teams in the meantime should be very doable though and provides a good opportunity for Chan, Hill, Forber, Makin etc.
