South Wales Scorpions announce that they have signed second-row forward Tom Morgan from Swansea rugby union club for the 2012 season.
The 22-year old has been a regular in the Swansea side for the past season and a half and has put in some outstanding performances, helping the All Whites to fifth in the Premiership and to the semi-finals of the Cup in his first season.
A Bridgend local, he was brought up through the famous Bridgend Athletic RFC youth development system, made his first team there in 2009-10 making an immediate impact to win their Player of the Year award.

Could potentially be the last we see of Marsh. Out of contract at the end of 2012. Big year ahead if he's to prove worthy of a new contract.

That move will either ensure he is a Wigan player for years to come or we will never see him in a Wigan shirt again.

Its the move he needs though. He needs the chance to prove himself at the top level with a consistent run of first team games.

Joel Tomkins career really kicked on after his loan spell with Widnes. I hope Stefan Marsh can follow a similar path.

I have my reservations, sadly.

I think he'd make a brilliant winger. Isn't a centre though.
