If we allow this you'd think all the club was interested in was money, not having the best players at Wigan which you'd hope would increase revenues anyway with bums on seats, more sponsorship and more revenue due to it being more likely we get to finals.

A fine sentiment but how helpful is keeping a player who want to leave? Surely it's better to cut your loses and get what you can money wise.

Wigan had an interesting guest in the Directors Box last night, it was South Sydney Rabbitohs CEO Shane Richardson prompting terrace talk that he was in town to target Sam ( I heard of this is in this evenings MEN.)
An interesting comment in the paper said that according to fellow match day VIPs he had not travelled 12,000 miles to challenge for Sams signature
If that is the case why has he travelled 12,000 miles to be in the Wigan Directors Box?.

The only players i can think of are:
Charnley
Farrell
Hansen

Sams signed with NZW and they have Isaac Luke so i dont think they'd need McIlorum.

Tim Moltzen to Saints is supposedly a done deal. Bit strange Saint signing a FB when they have Lomax, unless Lomax is off somewhere else?
