I've not been out round Ulverston, but my dad tells me that on Friday and Saturday nights all the farmers come into town from the hills and cause a load of barneys.

There's a list of people banned from the town's pubs under the pubwatch scheme in all the pubs, and they all had the same surname! To think we call Leigh...

I played at Ulverston last year and it's abit wierd.

There was chickens walking around inside the changing rooms. Seriously.

Ulverston is a great place to visit and for a night out - some very good pubs.

I had to laugh at the bollox about Farmers 'coming down from the hills' and chickens in the changing rooms.

Priceless :D

However many Wigan fans go, it will be a day Barrow fans/club won't soon forget and do their coffers no harm at all.

Its what the cup is about.

You talking team mates or poultry !??!

Seriously, it should be a great day - a real carnival atmosphere. We're all hoping Zeb Luisi and Ned Catic arrive from overseas in time. We've been waiting 3 months for them so-far. Bl00dy red tape !

We should have had 3 Fijian World Cup players as well - they all signed 2 year contracts. After 3 months of wading through red tape and money being paid out by the club for sponsor certificates, the UK Border Agency informed the club last week that they need to have English Degrees!!!!!

No trees were harmed during the creation of this post.
However, a number of electrons were mildly inconvenienced.

Why English degrees? Does that mean we're going to stop Americans coming over if they've got degrees from Harvard? Or French from the Sorbonne?
