Lets be honest. The seeds are being sown to really develop the young guys into integral squad players.
Whilst it might mean that we are not singing in October, it might mean that we are singing for a period of 5 - 10 years (a guess, you understand) over the next few years.
Personally i would happily forgo silverware this year (and last) in order to be contending for the next 5-10
Its the long game we need to start playing
mind you there is absolutely no reason why we will not be right amongst it this year either
Great things are happening at Wigan and if IL (not that i for a second would profess to understand his requirements) cant see that, then i would be disappointed for the first time
