Think it may have been then his form picked up when he returned.

He'll probably go ok but he'll certainly not bring that outright fear factor that Morley had brought against us over the years. I also doubt he'll take it up with the sort of force Carvell has done at times when on top form.

Guys like him and Minichiello will be coming over past their best (if Minichiello does come) but they'll still go ok because the standard is pretty low at the moment.

Asotasi's been playing alongside Jeff Lima, who knows how he'll go. He could be another Danny Lima, alternatively he could rip it up.

Blah blah blah. Had he igned for you I can just see the headlines "New Zealand captain Marvel to steamroll Super League". Lets give the bloke a chance. As for bringing outright fear factor, people on your board have said Morley has been past it for years and will get smashe when we play you etc..

Only posting my opinion. Asotasi's form has been off for a while but a spell over here may wake him up (and the lower standard will help).

Other people may have had that opinion on Morley but not me. He like Wire raises his game against Wigan and he's battered us on plenty of occasions.

I simply can't see Asotasi doing the same.

Roy Asotasi is an interesting guy. He got sacked from the NZ Captaincy a long time ago for being to out spoken about disaster Coach Gary Kemble.
Stephen Kearney has left Roy out in the cold even though it predated his coaching tenure as NZ coach.
Roy has been a great club player , he is respected for being professional , works hard etc, all those things you want in a Forward.
Good buy for a season , two seasons max.
Our pack plays theirs this weekend , all eyes are on the Burgess.

Logan to the Warriors, Daz Clarke to us. I could handle that! Sadly I think we have missed the boat on Clarke who I am sure will sign for Wire.

I think he has been improving steadily. I'm always wary of dismissing young front rowers, there maturation taking that much longer.
