I'm not ready to discard the club just because they aren't playing well.

We'll come good and the negative armchair supporters will conveniently disappear (again).

Well said mate, proper fan! Some people are massively entitled on here and don't understand the concept of 'supporting' the team; we are supporters after all.

I'm critical at the moment, does that mean I don't support the team still? I have always posted constructively why I think we are underperforming and asked what is being done by the coaching setup to change it. Trust me, I still support the team as much as ever, it's just pure frustration that we don't seem to be moving forward, and all the noises that come from Wane make it appear like it isn't an issue to him. He can get us defending, he can get us all pumped up, but we can't attack. We haven't been a potent attacking team in well over a year. That frustrates me unbelievably and I can't see anything from Wane that makes me think it will change. What I class as good, imaginative, smart rugby is a long way from what we've seen this year and a lot of last year.

I'm glad yourself and others can tolerate what we have produced this year, I wish I could do the same. I want to enjoy watching our team, I just don't enjoy watching us struggle so badly, playing predictable catch and pass rugby, when we are clearly capable of so much more.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions

Can't disagree with that, we have all been frustrated by the performances this year and I personally have started to lose faith in Wane. I hope he proves me wrong and we get it together for the business end. It's been a tough year injury wise but that excuse is wearing thin now.

People should still attend matches even if they are serving up garbage, the team needs support - that's why we are fans, rough with the smooth and all that. We don't have a right to win every game or even play well, but they'll do better with our support.

I'll admit in the heat of the moment I walked off at Cas thinking what a waste of money that was. Pure frustration, but I won't stop going.

We'll come good and the negative armchair supporters will conveniently disappear (again).

As I see it Ive got 3 options. 1. continue watching utter tripe. It's the only way I can describe it. As I've said previously I have watched the team for 50 years and we have had much worse teams but this team is utterly joyless to watch. Bereft of ideas but brilliant wrestlers. For me this is the 3rd season of a decline to mind numbing wrestling - I actually don't think we play rugby. I have considered this i.e. carry on regardless and would if I could see even a flicker of change.
2. I could carry on going and boo when I see low quality, low intensity and boring whiteboard rugby. I don't boo and I'd if I did I'd probably never stop during a game so that leaves
3. Stop going and hope that IL will eventually show enough interest and start to make changes.

My choice isn't the easy option for me. I love the club and was genuinely one of the 4000 or so who watched the club in the dark days of the 2nd division so I don't need telling about loyalty and alternatives. By the way I hope your jibe about armchair supporters wasn't aimed at me because that would open up your previous comments of empty vessels which I chose to ignore.

I won't call anyone who wants carry on watching and support the current set up that is absolutely their prerogative as it is mine to say actually I've had enough of the present lot. Just accept that other people have different views and that doesn't mean they have less feeling for the club.

Wigan are under the pump as Wane would say. Friday is now a crucial game. Get embarrassed by Saints again and there will be a mass Wigan walk. I have never left a game early in the 50+ years I have been supporting Wigan. I will be very tempted to walk if Friday''s performance leaves me cold.

Would never ever leave a Wigan Saints game early. Would never give their fans the satisfaction of waving me away. Soon as the hooter goes I'm off like.
