I can see the thinking behind the Lockers to centre idea but again it would only be a short term fix. I think Charnley is best idea so far but ive heard somewhere (twitter maybe) that weve definatley signed a super league centre so we might be ok for next year at least.

Lockers at centre! Never. He's a world class loose forward and would be an ordinary centre. Were not that desperate in the position that we need to start moving one of our best players from his natural position.

Charnley is our man. He's young, he's raw but he's shown potential in the position and him not being on the wing wouldn't harm us like Lockers not being at 13 would.

Agree.
We have Charnley who has played centre. We have Roberts who hopefully will make a full recovery who can play wing and both Matty Russell and Ryan King who have both represented their country in the wing position.

couple of wire fans think Hodgson as retired because of injury..And they have signed tom briscoe.

I've heard from a few people that Mathers is on his way back to Warrington. Not heard anything about Hodgsons injury though. I hope he isnt forced to retire due to an injury no player should go out that way, especially one whos had a career like Hodgson. On the other hand I'd never stop laughing if they re-signed Mathers

Hodgson has already been talking about pre-season training for 2012 on Twitter

Surely Wire would be better off with Riley at FB rather than anyone else?
