You certainly can't win them all and players have bad games. That's sport.
What I'm not having however, is the lack of learning on Lam's part. Whilst he's not the sole reason for the loss, he plays a part.
He should have learnt the lessons from last year. Instead he not only went with a light bench, but also didn't use said bench as well as he should. Leaving Bullock off was criminal.
Outside of that there's been talk about a lack of prop rotation i.e Clarke and Kilner. There was talk that not only are our props out of form and not under pressured to perform, but a suspension or injury leaves us open to a day like today. If he'd have at least tried Clarke or Kilner, we'd have known what our options are.
