I agree totally.
I am really going to enjoy posting this link in October, so some can see the utter tripe that they have posted on this matter.
"Let's sack a coach who has the best record in SL, who has saved Wigan from relegation and taken them to 3rd place two years on the trot And let's replace him with ..........er... Exactly".
This year the competition is even less about the regular rounds and totally about how you play in Sept/Oct.
I disagree with the format, but you play the hand that you are dealt.
No it's not. The worse you do in the weekly rounds the harder it is to win the thing. No one has ever won the comp from outside of third and it's no coincidence.
I want to see the team play well week in week out and then go to the playoffs in a good position to win the thing. This hasn’t happened in three years with Noble at the helm please tell me why this year is going to be any different? It’s no coincidence the teams that have played well all season go on to contest the GF.
IMO it’s about potentialy sacking Noble the coach who hasn't taken us forward after he saved us from relegation, the coach who hasn't put together a win streak or consistency, the coach who picks the wrong team or the coach who plays a style of rugby that meant we had more points scored against us that we scored ourselves last season.
We have a good squad and Noble isn’t getting the best out of it. I can’t see how anyone can say he is.
I really can’t see what Noble has going for him in his time at Wigan apart from saving us from relegation. The two semi final appearances seem to have made some fans think we had a good season. Do you not remember the Hudds game, Hull KR away, Saints at MM, the capitulation at Wakey in previous seasons or our inability to win at Warrington all regular times when we just didn’t have a clue? Sadly it looks like more of the same from where I’m sitting this season also and I’m absolutely fed up with it.
