No, I expected us to lose pre game so I am absolutely made up and I was really happy with the first half performance, it was just i felt we were the architects of our own downfall in the Saints comeback.
I am also made up with this season so far, a shocker against Catalans but apart from that we have been pretty good, even on good Friday you could take a lot of positives. Things are certainly looking good for us.

Liam Byrne was the difference in the forwards in the end. His stats might not be off the charts but his last stint shut the middle down.

That win is for the Saints fans who say we wouldn’t get a player in their first 13. They deserve to lose games for comments like that. The good guys who come on here know we’re not bad but we’re currently not as good as them.

Yeah, he seemed to put in long minutes today and I remember at the end of his first he seemed to have plenty of running in him, seems like he has a good engine for a big lad.

Congrats you lot - handed the occasion better and stuck in there.

I felt like we would need to cough up chances to concede points and so it proved - some sickeners in there! Second half was only going one way until the Marshall gift but Wigan deserve credit for sticking in there when they would have been shattered by events unfolding.
