I remember always reading that site when Wilkinson ran it. Always got good insight not found elsewhere, he’d break stories and put a bit of opinion on it.

Now it’s beyond boring and I feel I learn nothing new reading it.

For me, the layout and sheer amount of adverts make it almost unreadable. That's before you get to the dire content

Just three separate stories about Latics so far, but nothing about our squad announcement or the game on Friday. It's all ok tho because there's "key dates for Latics diary for next season". Beggars belief.

Fair enough if the bloke is on holiday, but surely there is somebody else at Wigan Today who can bang out a squad announcement article at least. 5 min jobbie quoting the Wigan Warriors article.

The fact that the owners have gone radio silent for a full two days following Monday's match despite assurances that out of contract players would be paid Tuesday morning (and still haven't it seems) absolutely speaks volumes.

1) Surely there can't be a future for these owners going forward now, even if they wanted to. Six times wages have been missed now.

2) It seems obvious that the owners simply aren't interested (or cannot afford) to continue and are either looking to offload quickly or simply walk away and ignore. Surely there has to be a statement before the end of the week?

I'm just glad it's not us, our takeover (from ML and Whelan to IL) was pretty much done behind the scenes following the backlash of the salary cap breaches in 2006, it makes you appreciate how good of an owner IL has been over the last 16 years and especially during the tough covid seasons.
