If push come to shove and they do fold. What happens with the stadium? I’m guessing IL would have to pay administrators money to purchase it to continue playing there. Which is not ideal as it’s an expensive dump. Would be good to redevelop it but again a big expense on top of buying it. Not sure IL would have enough

Presumably, he'd set up some kind of consortium to acquire the stadium, and would use that as a going concern in its own right: rock concerts, conventions and other stuff. We'd continue to play there, and I suppose Latics would pay rent to do the same, assuming they can find someone to buy them.
If they literally disappear though, as in go out of business entirely, we'd have a problem for sure. Can't see that a white elephant like the DW would survive for long with only one team playing there.

What about Danson? Reported to be very wealthy.
Redevelopment of Robin Park perhaps not just a pipe dream?

The best scenario (assuming Latics went back into admin) would be to revert ownership to the 33% ratio of Council, Wigan RL, Latics (new ownership). At least that way we obtain a percentage of corporate and match day revenue.

And a percentage of the running and maintenance costs which are likely to be expensive given the state of the stadium.
OT but it would be good to read something about the rugby for once in Wigan Today. Sadly they just seem obsessed with Latics at the moment. I don't think Kendrick (the deputy sports editor) has even mentioned Wigan RL once.
Cooper talking in the mirror that he intends to play on. Radders is/was in Oz. Marquee rule discussions happening tomorrow (I think). King talking about his future etc.
Loads to talk about, but we get to hear about the latest BS from the blue side.

I guess it doesn’t help when a young lad has taken over from Wilkinson and won’t hold as much sway. The funny thing is, the Latics fans call it the rugby post and think it’s all rugby news, so nobody is happy!

I think you only need to look at the personal Twitter account of the deputy editor to see where loyalties lie.
I realise they probably don't don't want to fan the flames between the two camps, but some of the tit bits from "behind the scenes" that you hear on here would/should be reported on by any half decent hack.
