The referees might not be great but the sport is becoming incredibly hard to referee with everything going on in the ruck and its a huge problem.

Here's the problem with the ruck - loose carries and interference aren't mutually exclusive. Both can occur at the same time - what decision do you give then? When replays are shown of these incidents and all the commentators can say is that its a 50/50 call then the sport has a problem.

Saints defeat. No Roby or Percival for next week. Think i will wear a black armband at work tomorrow as a mark of respect. I expect Saints were only at 50% and that is the best Catalans have ever played.

The lads on the Wigan Way podcast made a fair point this week, saying you just call it accidental and the attacking team get to play the ball again.

Micky Mac rolling back the years! Interesting listening to the Sky podcast last week, with Wilkin saying he gave him literal sleepless nights and absolutely bullied him. There haven’t been many players as underrated for me (especially among Saints fans).
