Given you are an avid NRL watcher I'm interested in your opinion here. I too watch a lot of NRL and my only worry is that is he not too much "off the cuff"? He tries lots of things that don't always come off but rather than retreating into a shell he still tries.

Would the more structured and systems approach in the NRL suit his game?

I think at first he’d have to play at structure, til he earn respect and trust by his coaches and team mates.

Munster plays for a very structured team but is allowed to create on his own off the cuff and Jerome Hughes organises.

Great point re Munster. If he ends up being half the player he is I’ll be happy!

Catalan at +8 tomorrow night is a very good bet. They are at full strength bar Morgue and Taukeiaho and we have Batchelor and Makinson still missing. Sironen has been named in the 21 man squad but I'd be surprised if he plays. Our right edge in defence has been suspect all season with Hurrell but its noticeably worse without Batchelor and Makinson. Batchelor makes a huge difference.

Even if we win I think it will be a close one.

Just to add that I go on holiday a week tomorrow for two weeks so just in case we lose the CC semi-final I've not gone missing! I'll always front up win or lose. To make it worse we are on a cruise with no Internet access so I won't have access on my phone for the first 3 days whilst at sea (no way am I paying £30 per day per device for Wi-fi for me, my wife and two lads)

The second day at sea is the Leigh game so unless the British bar (why is there always a British bar everywhere) on the ship will put BBC 1 on for me, I'll have no idea of the score.

I'm hoping that there will be Sky Sports News on somewhere so if I can't watch the game I should at least find out the score

In terms of Saints and if anyone is watching them tonight, Tiaki Chan is on the bench for Catalans, so hopefully he’ll get to make some friends early.

Edit-Jenna Brooks saying Keighran a done deal as well, so we can have a look at him.

It’s going too far the old ‘I’m not a biased Wiganer Show’ that Moore puts on time and again. People went past thinking that yonks ago.

There's been some terrible calls both ways. Keighran knocked on clearly then, penalty given, Catalans score.

The referees might not be great but the sport is becoming incredibly hard to referee with everything going on in the ruck and its a huge problem.
