An individual choosing who to work for is down to their own personal choice and their own personal reasons for doing so. Nothing to do with sport or business.

Now if you're talking about a club deciding on whether to offer someone a higher wage vs a business doing so then no you can't compare them. One works to a salary cap and one doesn't.

Neither of those have anything to do with how either entity manages ill discipline though.
