Thought he took the high ball, and it was a very high ball, but got hit in impact causing him to lose the ball. Good play from all involved in my opinion for that try.

The opposition players were yards offside and not picked up by the officials should have been a penalty for Wigan.

He didn't fumble it. He list it in the tackle on the ground having been hit hard. Might have even had it punched out and it was very wet ball.
Will have to check the replay. This is the BBC's take on it anyway:
The Australian, however, was to blame for letting Escare add to the French side's advantage after the break, spilling a Pryce kick.

Roby was woeful at times during that game. Pity Mr Ganson didn't "have a word" with him at half time like he did last week when Saints were losing at Wakefield.
That makes it sound like he just dropped it and he didn't. Got hit and was sliding over the line toward the stand when it came loose. As I said it may have been knocked out but even if it wasn't I don't think he just dropped it and it was are result of the hit.

Crowd got very angry just before half time. He kept telling Les Cats to stay onside after they hand wandered offside but if he gave two penalties against them for offside I'd be surprised.
I thought that Bowen was living dangerously a little on a couple of occasions, collecting the ball and throwing long flat passes out five metres from our own line. One in particular was pretty high and Burgess had to jump for it. Not really needed, especially in the wet weather! A definite head in hands moment for the crowd there...and he did it a couple of weeks back too!

I think I know which one you mean. In the first half?
He got a lot of slagging off from some around me for running at the corner on an attack to the left also in the first half and passing the ball to winger with no room left.
Now OK he should probably have held onto the ball but I am certain he was expecting either the winger or centre to run an angle on the inside - not follow him left!
