They’re good young players mate but they’ll both need to go some to bring more to a side then Bateman or Farrell do to us. Maybe they will go past Bateman and Faz but they’re not at that level yet and it’s doubtful Bateman/Faz are going anywhere for a number of years. In McDonnell’s case especially, he wasn’t going to sit round until he’s 25/26 to get a spot.

Not sure how much game time he will get at Leeds with Bentley, Martin and Gannon in front of him.
Saying that Bentley will probably be banned for a number of games.

Bentley is not a good rugby player, the changes to the disciplinary rules has found him out.

He literally replaced O'Neill in the squad on Thursday, so how is that irrelevant? Unless your telling me the plan all along was to bring Cust off and play Shorrocks at 6?

I stand corrected that he didn't go to 6. That being said, I don't believe that was the plan and he was actually selected to spell Powell.

I don't see what Peet sees in Partington and Shorrocks over McDonnell. Shorrocks comes kn and saunters around the pitch hardly breaking a sweat.
