Kazim Atilla, Founder and CEO of IQONIQ, said: “It is no secret the pandemic has created a very challenging environment for many businesses and sectors and, as with Wigan Warriors, this has been no different for IQONIQ. We are thrilled to have managed our way through this difficult time and want to thank Wigan Warriors for their patience and support. We are excited about the next stage of the partnership, meeting the amazing fans and in delivering a range of exciting initiatives and activations during the coming season.
This statement from their founder is quite telling.
1. They have suffered setbacks during the pandemic. 2. They have managed their way through their issues. 3. They thank Wigan for their "patience & support".
Maybe the split shirts is a show of gratitude to Wigan for this patience and support.
Glad to see the issues are seemingly resolved.

Reading between the lines, Hummel had the kit sorted but Iqonic were dragging their feet. Wigan needed to get the kit out so got them in shop now without the sponsor.
Don't like the home one. Hoops are too narrow for me, i like it traditional. Like the away one though. Won't be buying any though, most of you know why. Wish we were playing in the heritage kits they brought out last week.
The size of the hoops are actually the traditional size they were on the shirts before marketing and sponsorship came on the scene.
Suggest that supporters look at pictures of past players and teams prior to the eighties.
As far as I am concerned, Wigan should follow the example of Celtic FC who never deviate from their traditional green and white hooped shirt as their first choice strip!
Sponsors shirt come already applied should be in for Christmas
I bought a couple of kids shirts which were both without sponsor, the girl in the shop said they would put on the sponsors free of charge but I can’t remember what date she said.
