Don't think he got a criminal record for the student attack. Gave him a bit of cash and a "I'm sorry" letter.

Nope he's already stated to someone he wouldn't join Leeds. He could be persuaded with something ridiculous but think with his reply to someone close to him Leeds would be a no at the moment.

Unless there is a deal already in place for Hardaker (sounds like he might have been poached) i can't see anyone wanting him because let's be honest, Sam Tomkins he aint. No matter how hard the Leeds fans pretend he is better but he is miles away. His tacking is better because he is bigger (but Sam's defence is ok anyway for his size) but he has a lot of frailties in his game that will be quickly uncovered in Oz. I hope he goes over there and makes a fist of it because look at Sam now. Ok he isn't the baby faced annoying little quick full back he once was but what he is now (so far) is a well drilled, defensively sound player with a lot more game management in him. Might do Hardaker the world of good going over there and learning to grow up a bit. Zak got found out a bit against New Zealand so would do him the world of good.

On this subject, i saw a text message from Sam T when he first went over to Oz and Jarryd Hayne went past him in his first few games and scored a try and he went straight over to Sam Tomkins and shouted "You are in my world now" Think that probably sums up the determination of the down under players to prove that they are the best.

Or it just proves that Jarryd Hayne is a c#nt.

I'd say initially Hardaker would probably look better than Tomkins did in his early days in the NRL as he's good defensively and a strong runner. Once opponents work out that he can't/won't pass he'd become completely anonymous though.

He'd do well to better Tomkins tally of approx 11/12 trys and a similar amount of assists in his first season. That was roughly on a par with Greg Inglis and Billy Slater for 2014.

I'd be surprised if Hardaker got 10 combined tbh.

Don't mention that Tomkins was actually having some success in the NRL, some of his passes for trys were outstanding. I am haapy to have him back, if fans of other teams believe that he left with his tail between his legs than lets hope that motivates Tomkins to prove how good he is.

He had one good year and one ruined by injury.

That doesn't fit the agenda of some people though as you say.

Just as long as we don't make the mistake of offering even £300 for him.

Totally agree, personally thought he brought structure to the Warriors that let Johnson concentrate on his off the cuff game, they might have what they want on the face of it with RTS but they need a Tomkins more. As as been said some of his tip offs to bring centres/wingers into the game were superb. Hate the fact fans of other clubs say he was a failure. If he'd have gone over without a transfer fee everyone would be signing a different tune. He is and always will be better than Hardaker (who as a defensive fullback is top notch) but I would like to see him move back to 6 as he now looks to be trying to organise the team round the park
