Looked like that on Friday, didn't acknowledge the crowds (although to be fair there was a lot of booing going on, so it's understandable that someone would think 'sod that') and didn't huddle in with the rest of the team, heading straight for the tunnell instead.

I knew Andy from his Swinton days. He had a prodigious workrate and was easily the fittest player in that pretty awful side.

I always thought he'd make a solid top-division player. But never anything more than that. He just doesn't have the tonnage.

If anything he's overachieved.

if he ran like feka or fielden he would be brilliant with the size of him, but he runs like calderwood - sideways looking for a gap, never finds one so the defence closes in on him and he ends up further back than he was when he got the ball.

To sum it up he is sh*t.

Unlike some threads, the comments so far haven't been made just so they can have an opportunity to have a exaggerated whinge about a player performing badly in a poor side, they are pretty much spot on.

He'll get the ball and plod sideways whilst just looking at the defence and waiting to take a tackle. His defence is ok...Until he gives away another penalty. That's about it for Andy Coley.

He's a reserves standard player.

If he ran his weight into the tackle, he'd probably be half decent and make some yards. At the end of the day, he's just a prop, he doesn't have to do the fancy stuff, we just need him to be a battering ram.
