Terrible decision making by McNamara, Widdop came on last Saturday and showed he offers so much in attack compared to an out of position Sinfield. I'd like to see us at least challenge the Aussies but with the inept coaching we don't stand a chance.

You do realise that Widdop came on for Chase at scrum half don't you?

Yes I do, but I also realise having watched a lot of NRL this year that Widdop is an out standing five eight and should be starting at 6 instead of an out of position Sinfield who creates very little attacking opportunities in that position.

Can't make the game on Saturday, so we have an awful decsion to make too: whether to watch on Sky with Eddie & Stevo or the BBC with Nobby and Boyo....Which is the lesser of two evils?

Which is exactly why a good spanking off Australia and New Zealand would benefit us in the long run, it would make the RFL wake up and smell the coffee, whether people like it or not we need an Australian coach.

We did have a quality Aussie coach in Tony Smith, the RFL should allow their coach to work at both club and international level like Stephen Kearney and Tim Sheens. Otherwise we will struggle to appoint a quality coach who would work purely for England.
