Yea I’ve not seen much of him. Hopefully they can stick some size on him over the pre season. We haven’t had the best luck in signing big men so hopefully this might work out. Does Anyone have any idea on him? Wiki says he’s played 8 games for Catalan in 2 years. They do have some big men though Catalan. Here’s hoping for a gem. I’m sure someone said he is a little in the Isa mould so hopefully learning from Isa he’ll be able to punch above his weight.

Statistically he actually looks pretty good in terms of his average gains per carry. It sits at 7.61m a carry currently, which is better than any of our props including Cooper (who is our best in terms of metres per carry). He hasn’t played every week at Catalans and his minutes look limited but there is something there to work with. His size clearly isn’t holding him back in terms of being able to make ground when he’s on the field.

The main thing that has stuck out when I’ve seen him is his aggression. He went after Bateman last season at our place IIRC, so he’s no shrinking violet. There has been talk that youngsters/fringe players coming through at Catalans are paid extremely poorly, so I think it could be a really good move this one.

where does this leave the Tyler Dupree situation, which erupted 2 weeks after he signed a long term contract with Salford?

I'd imagine, it puts it to bed....

Was impressed with a few of his carries last night. Did look to be blowing at some points gave away a high tackle and was napping when one of the Catalan players was pushed over the line. If we are only asking him to do spells at prop then hopefully should do well

To be fair he has not played many minutes this season and he is therefore unlikely to be match fit. I thought his performance last night was adequate but I believe that he has the potential to improve.

He wasn’t on the pitch too long but only 4 carries and 4 tackles, he’s enthusiastic I’ll give him that and he runs it in hard but he’s built like a back at the moment, not much weight to him at all, for a forward of that size you would want/expect them to be doing big minutes.

Looks like something of a project based on last night.

Energetic and can hurt people.

The way he hits the line reminds me somewhat of Feka but in defence he looks like Isa.

Further pack reinforcements needed for 2024.
